A photo a day

book in the windowsill

In 2021 I have a personal project I want to complete every day: make a photo. On the first day, every day, until the last day of 2021. Every day a different picture, a new perspective. To view where my own creativity will bring me: to wonder if I get surprised by my own work. To wander creatively for a year. If you wish, you can wander over to project 365, and I hope to surprise you.

Apart from my current photography project, I will upload photo’s from my portfolio. This is a personal challenge: to look back at my past and select my best work, to appreciate my own work from my past more and more.

My photography has to tell a story, often it tells it with the image itself. But as often as that happens, there is also a story behind the image: often, the story about how images are created can be as interesting as the image itself. I will share those stories with you. I also will share with you my thoughts about developments within photography and my own development. If you are interested, please head over to Bokeh, I will talk to you there!

In my daily life, I am a MA student in philosophy. It is my second round of studying, after having done a MA in medieval history. As such, I often overthink stuff, be it recent political developments, news events or philosophical problems. I will share those thoughts with you on my philosophy blog
